April 28, 2014. Fort Lauderdale. “Just because we don’t work for each other doesn’t mean we can’t work together,” said the people that belong in Axis Space. The spirit is a balance of solo work as much of collaboration, and that is seen through the decisions and design that went into creating Axis Space.
The 4th floor will open in advance of the rest of the space, and the pre-opening will be celebrated with a bang on Cinco de Mayo.
The floor, 32 offices for individuals or teams, were designed with a mantra in mind: everyone is entitled to being healthy and not being confined to a dark cubicle all day. As a result, there are height-adjustable desks for all and daylight pours in through the floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the yacht-flooded canal.
Anyone who would like to tour the space and beat those attending the Pre-Opening Party can schedule one. Who knows, there might be invitations to the party lying around.
The opening of the shared collaborative space and conference rooms, first and second floor, will take place in June 2014. With a bang.
